Gerlos Hiking Arena
The Gerlos Hiking Arena can well be called the "valley of the valleys". Because branching from the peaceful Gerlos Valley are five side valleys, the perfect thing for active holiday-makers - for the happy-go-lucky walker or the ambitious hiker. Any of the always rewarding day excursions to one of these "side valley treats" is naturally accompanied by crystal-clear, babbling brooks, where you can spend idyllic hot summer days. And: all of the five valleys have very different hiking trails. They all start out pretty gently, only to become more challenging and sometimes even require mountaineering experience.
